Amphenol ICC launched the new Cross-Mate™ 2.00mm to mark the beginning of 2020 in January. These wire-to-board connectors offer a compact design and can be used in various applications in consumer, industrial, medical and automotive fields.

The Cross-Mate™ series is an ideal compact and modular design with active latches especially suitable for applications that require good mating retention. This wire-to-board system has a current rating of up to 2A per contact meeting higher power performance with a mechanical performance of durability of 50 cycles for the gold plated version. The Terminal-Position-Assurance (TPA) guarantee that the contact is properly mounted into the cable housing eliminating functional problem due to wrong connector assembly. With 4 points of contact, it offers high reliability even in harsh environments and with this solution provide excellent electrical performance especially in vibration application environment. The touch-proof features protect the operator from touching powered contact.
